Reward Points Pay Off!
Hi everyone! Another entry into the 'ol blog. This time we come to you with some changes in our itinerary. In the spirit of having some fun stuff for our daughter to experience, we will be adding a 'slight' detour to our route. Once we make it to Myrtle beach, SC, we are going to make an ever so slight detour South to Disney World! Well it is an 8 hour 30minute detour south to be exact... I was concerned about our stay in sunny Orlando. We were anticipating a 4 day stay at Fort Wilderness camp ground at only $42.00 a night (very reasonable). However, given that it is central Florida in the middle of August, and we don't exactly have air conditioning for the tent.... I decided to see what options we have. We could have stayed in one of the resorts for $200.00+ per night or stay outside the resort at a local hotel for $120+ per night. That is when there was divine inspiration to try and use my Hilton Honors points and see what I can ...
